Beanie for Brain Cancer Day

Googong Public School is proudly hosting a Beanie for Brain Cancer Day on Thursday 19 June 2025, an initiative dedicated to raising vital funds and increasing awareness for brain cancer research. This cause holds deep significance for our school community. 

Each year, approximately 1,500 Australians lose their lives to brain cancer—a sobering reminder of the urgent need for continued research and support.

To show our support, students are invited to pre-purchase a beanie to wear on Beanie for Brain Cancer Day. Beanies can be ordered online via the GPS Uniform Shop on the Spriggy Schools app. Orders close on Monday 2 June 2025 - no late orders will be accepted.

We kindly encourage students to bring a gold coin donation on the day. Donations can also be made online via Googong Public School’s fundraising page.

Together, we can shine a light on brain cancer and make a meaningful difference.
