Indigenous Literacy Day

This year for Indigenous Literacy Day, Googong Public School will be holding a Mufti Day.

Students are welcome to wear the colours or the Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander flag or Aboriginal clothing to school for a gold coin donation.

We would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the Ngunnawal and Ngambri People, the traditional custodians of the Land on which we learn. We pay our respects to Elders both past and present, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. This Land was, is and always will be Aboriginal Land.
