Students lit up the stage at QPAF-Performance Nights! Their talent, dedication and hard work shone through, making every performance unforgettable. We’re so proud of all our performers.

Book Week 2025

Children’s Book Week is celebrated across Australia to highlight the importance of books and reading. This year’s theme is “Book an Adventure.”

Students were invited to come to school dressed in a costume inspired by a book or this year’s theme.

100 Days of Learning

What a wonderful day Kindergarten had celebrating their 100th day of learning!

To mark this special occasion, students were invited to dress up as “old people.”

The day was filled with fun and excitement: students dazzled with singing and dancing, enjoyed a delightful yarn and morning tea with their families and explored all things 100! Games were played, smiles were shared, and it was a memorable celebration of learning.

Beanie for Brain Cancer Day!

Googong Public School proudly hosted Beanie for Brain Cancer Day on Thursday, 19 June 2025, an initiative dedicated to raising vital funds and increasing awareness for brain cancer research. This cause holds deep significance for our school community.

The fundraiser was held in honour of Mr Dave Marchant, our Years 3–6 Deputy Principal, who is currently undergoing treatment for brain cancer.

Through the sale of beanies and generous donations, the school raised $5,928 from beanie sales and $1,440 in additional donations—a fantastic effort supporting an important cause.
